"At the shrine of friendship,
Never say die, Let the wine of
friendship never run dry."

~Les Misérables (Jean-Marc Natel &
Alain Boublil)~
Karen Albright Lin: A great friend, collaborator, and
wonderful fellow writer.

Laura K. Deal: Author, artist, friend, and gentle soul.

Janet Esposito: Awesome blogger, fellow writer, and
brilliant conversationalist.  All in all, she's
interesting!

Catherine Ryan Hyde: Best-selling author and
unwitting mentor to my own writing.  She's good
people.

Stephen King: Nothing I can say here that hasn't been
said a bajillion times.  Awesome.

Dean Koontz: Writer of the bizarre that he makes
wholly believable.  Topical and engaging.

Joe Hill: Son of Stephen King, he stands on his own in
terms of storytelling abilities.

Jesse Kellerman: If the last name sounds familiar, it's
because this is the son of best-selling authors Jonathan
Kellerman and Faye Kellerman.  However, Jesse's work
is astounding on its own.  He is a NY playright.

Patrick Rothfuss: Author of the incredible The Name of
the Wind, which is the type of writing every fantasy
author should strive for.

Mark Terry: Fellow writer who hails from my
Michigan home town.  His blog is very informative for
those just starting out in a writing career.

Wil Wheaton: Former child-actor on Star Trek: Next
Generation
and the film Stand By Me, Wheaton is now an
author and self-proclaimed geek.  His writing is
wonderful, as is his blog.  Follow his after-acting life
with his wife and two sons.

Terry Brooks: Best-selling author of the Shannara series
and one of the most prolific fantasy authors around.
Love his work!

Orson Scott Card: For me, Card is the author who got
me hooked on fantasy stories with his
Hatrack River
series.  His standards for writing is what I hope to live
by.

Dan Simmons: Colorado author who started out in
horror, switched to sci-fi, then to mainstream, all with
incredible ease.  Prolific and uncatagorical.

John Mayer: Astounding musician and surprisingly,
very well-spoken.  His blog is not only intelligent, but
interesting.

Barry Eisler: Lawyer-turned-author, writer of
numerous thrillers.

Joseph Finder: Powerhouse author of corporate
thrillers.  See my reviews of his latest novels.

Writers On The Verge: The writing appraisal group
founded in 1998.  An amazing group of writers!

Carol Berg: Incredible fantasy author and one of my
favorites.  If you haven't read Carol's work, you're
missing out on something wonderful.
